Hennessey Digital Offers Jeff Bezos a Job in Link Building (aka ‘Digital PR’)
North Hollywood, CA – Now out of a job after stepping down as Amazon’s CEO, Jeff Bezos is in the market for employment—and legal marketing leaders Hennessey Digital are looking to recruit the high-profile e-commerce magnate for their digital ranks.
President and COO Scott Shrum expressed enthusiasm for hiring the former Amazonian #1: “While we don’t normally hire Princeton grads, Jeff’s extensive resume and infectious laugh make us think he would be a great fit here at Hennessey Digital. Provided that his references provide glowing recommendations, of course.”
Noting Hennessey Digital’s international employee base and 100%-virtual model, Shrum added, “We love remote work here, and we now have team members in 20 different states across the country, but it bothers us like hell that we don’t have anyone in the Pacific Northwest yet. We’d be proud to make Jeff our first hire from Washington State.”
In his farewell letter to Amazon employees, Bezos shared, “I find my work meaningful and fun. I get to work with the smartest, most talented, most ingenious teammates. While Bezos couldn’t be reached for comment, Hennessey Digital is confident they’ll receive an acceptance for their offer of employment within the week and have already set up his email address for him.
