PatientPartner Awarded Three 2021 Aster Awards Honoring Excellence in Healthcare Advertising

PatientPartner Awarded Three 2021 Aster Awards Honoring Excellence in Healthcare Advertising

These designations are a testament to our team, and the industry’s changing approach to how they connect with patients and healthcare professionals.
The platform was recognized with two Gold and one Silver certificate from a panel of industry experts.

PatientPartner, a platform that helps patients navigate their surgical journey, won Gold Aster Awards in the ‘Service Line – Bariatric Services’, and ‘Non-Hospital Organization/ Association’ website design categories, also taking home Silver in ‘Special Video Production Series’.

The Aster Awards program, founded in 2001 and hosted by one of the largest healthcare marketing magazines, Marketing Healthcare Today, is dedicated to recognizing the most talented healthcare marketing professionals for “outstanding excellence in advertising, marketing, and communications.” Over the past decade, the Aster Awards have quickly become recognized as an industry gold-standard, allowing healthcare organizations and advertising agencies to compete from across the nation and world.

PatientPartner offers the first platform that connects pre-surgical patients directly with fully recovered patients who went through the same surgery, often with the same surgeon. It was recognized for its Bariatric Series, Patient Journey video series,  and website design. Only entries that score in the top percentile judged by a panel of industry experts earn coveted Gold, Silver, and Bronze certificates.

Speaking about the award recognition, PatientPartner COO Patrick Frank said: “At PatientPartner we are creating a new type of patient experience and as a result we have created new and exciting ways to produce content that resonates both with patients and the industry. These designations are a testament to our team, and the industry’s changing approach to how they connect with patients and healthcare professionals.”

CEO George Kramb added: “We are very proud of this accolade and want to recognize our very talented team for what they have accomplished.  This was a collaborative effort, and a recognition that both Patrick and I are honored to stand behind.”

Melinda Lucas, Aster Awards Program Coordinator said: “During these unprecedented times of Covid, this year’s competition was one of the most creative to date. With our new Covid category, there were many agencies and organizations that stepped up and offered incredible communications that were both informative and creative. We’ve all had Covid touch our lives and are looking forward to a much brighter future together. Our hats off to everyone for amazing entries.”

This recognition comes after PatientPartner was recently awarded with an Honorable Mention in the Health Category for Fast Company’s 2021 World Changing Ideas Awards. Earlier this year, founders Patrick Frank and George Kramb were also included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for consumer technology.
