KSM is excited to announce that it will be working with New Jersey businesses on the state’s new Return and Earn program. New Jersey-owned businesses looking for help with recruiting and training through this new state initiative can now do so with the help of KSM’s consulting staff.

The Return and Earn program, announced by Governor Phil Murphy in September 2021, encourages economic recovery from the pandemic by incentivizing new workers returning to the workforce and offering benefits to qualified New Jersey employers. Under this new initiative, unemployed workers reentering the workforce are eligible for a $500 incentive as part of their first paycheck with their new employer. Additionally, the Return and Earn program will reimburse local small businesses up to 50% of the cost for job training provided to new employees, for up to 6 months—capped at $10,000 per employee.

“Our Administration is committed to assist businesses in hiring workers while providing benefits to those entering and re-entering the workforce that will set them up for success in their new jobs and their future careers,” said Governor Murphy when announcing the initiative. “This program will help both businesses and their workers, and is yet another step that we have taken to boost our economy.”
