The Track Five App works as follows. When a shipper tenders a shipment to the carrier, the carrier will have to accept the tender and input the driver’s cell phone into the system. A message will then be sent to the driver prompting them to download the Track Five App. Upon installation, the driver will simply type his phone number in the app and input the 7-digit code proving their phone is linked to the load.

Unlike other tracking apps, Track Five App is straightforward, with an intuitive interface. There’s no need to log-in or sign-up. Once the 7-digit code is typed in, tracking will start immediately, and the phone number is automatically connected to each tender. Just like that, the shipper can see the driver on a live map, knowing their route from start to finish. Best of all, this can be done on all the shipper’s loads.

Shippers can now actually track the drivers with ease. Not only will shippers receive ETA based on driver MPH and location, but they will also be able to receive proof of delivery (POD) after the delivery is finished.
