Meet Cassandra Moise, Miss Broward County US Nation 2023
Cassandra is the reigning Miss Broward County US Nation 2023 titleholder. She has been modeling for the past 5 years. Her love for modeling began when she was only 13 years old. However, her mother had doubts that she would choose that career for a security issue and told her to just focus on school instead. Several years later, Cassandra decided to go for it and seriously get into the modeling industry.
Cassandra began her journey with the Miss US Nation pageant in August of this year. Deciding to compete for the state crown of Miss Florida US Nation – was a big step and she was given the opportunity to represent the Broward County region. As a titleholder of the Miss US Nation Pageant , Cassandra will have the opportunity to participate in Fashion Weeks and pursue her dream. She has already been featured at Super Chic New York Fashion Week and will be featured in other important Fashion Week events as well this year and the first quarter of next.
Cassandra believes that the modeling industry is mostly about self-expression, confidence and breaking boundaries. “This is an industry where you must stand out and make it your own, you can either blend it to the background and be that figure that “models” clothing or be that spirit that inspires diversity as art does, for it is full of color, shades, tones, and textures. It is yours to create if you put forth the time and energy into doing so”, says Cassandra.
Cassandra also practices medicine and she plans to expand her humanitarian work. In 5 years from now- she sees herself being a global public figure & practicing integrative medicine. She is currently in nursing school for her master’s degree and plans to open a medical spa and wellness center in South Florida. She also plans to have a non-profit to participate in humanitarian projects both local and overseas. Cassandra loves to travel and acquire knowledge about other cultures and those she meets along the way. “You can always learn something from someone regardless of one’s differences”, says Cassandra.
As Miss Broward County US Nation 2023, Cassandra would like to be a positive role model for others to look up to. She believes that many don’t have someone with the right intentions to look up to and she would like to change that. Cassandra also hopes to break the “beauty stereotype” in the modeling and pageantry industry by widening the spectrum of beauty. She believes it’s beyond the physical and sees beauty and something boundless and skin deep.
One of Cassandra’s talents is playing the piano. She feels that it has the ability to calm and aid in focus. Staying calm and focused has helped her to achieve any task. This model of many talents has much to offer to the industry!
